Amnesty works on lots of issues. Right now their priority campaigns are Women's Human Rights and Poverty and Human Rights.
Amnesty defends individuals from human rights abuses. One way you can help them do this is by taking action for individuals at risk.
Amnesty protects individuals by securing improvements in their welfare while tackling the root causes that lead to the abuse of many. By choosing to take action for an individual at risk, you can challenge the practices that lead to human rights violations and bring about deep and lasting change.
Amnesty also works to bring change for people across the globe. Right now they are working to support those demanding change in the Middle East and North Africa.
Amnesty's Scottish office provides a focus for our campaigning and fundraising in Scotland. We engage with Scotland's distinct political, education and media structures and take part in wider political and cultural life in Scotland.
