St Andrew’s and St George’s
is a church for every day of the week, not just for Sundays.
Our parish is in the commercial heart of Edinburgh. More than
15,000 people come to work here every day and many more to
meet friends, shop, and visit the many bars and restaurants.
We are a church for all who come to the city centre.
The open church
The church is open from 10am to 3pm Monday
to Friday. You are welcome to step inside to find a quiet
space for individual prayer and reflection, or just to admire
the beautiful ceiling. There is a short
daily meditation at 1pm on weekdays.
The Undercroft Café
Our café in the Undercroft
is open Monday to Friday from 10am - 2.30pm. Food is fairly traded and, where possible, organic. The cafe will be closed from 2pm on Thursday 20 December and reopen on Monday 7th January 2008.
Business outreach
Dorothy Anderson is our Outreach Minister and chaplain to several local businesses.
