Working together with city centre
businesses
St Andrew’s and St George’s
is part of the working life of Edinburgh. We work together
with the local business community on issues affecting the
city centre.
We are represented in local business organisations
such as the George Street Association, Edinburgh Chamber of
Commerce and Edinburgh City Centre Management. This gives
us the opportunity to know our neighbours better and our neighbours
the opportunity to know us better, and to raise city centre
issues of concern to our church in a wider forum.
Chaplaincy
Our ministers provide a chaplaincy service
to several city centre businesses, giving staff the opportunity
to explore faith and personal issues in confidence.
Services at St Andrew’s

Many city centre businesses hold carol services
or special services in our church.
Donations in kind
Businesses in our parish, and beyond, have
donated generously in kind to events such as our Book
Sale and Charity Chic.
