Activities - Guides, Brownies and Rainbows

Guides, Brownies and Rainbows meet in our church every week during term time.

Rainbows is for girls aged 5-7; they meet in the Davidson Room. Our unit is small but lively and with excellent, full-trained leaders. There are places available.

Brownies are aged 7-10; they meet in the Undercroft. There are around 12 Brownies at present, and we have room for more. As the Undercroft is fully accessible, we welcome girls with any kind of disability.

Guides are 10-14 and meet in the Undercroft. We are keen to have more Guides, as the unit is currently small and we have excellent leaders. Camp and indoor holidays are a feature of Guides.

Because all the units meet on the same night, there are close links between them and this is very helpful for girls moving between the units. Joint activities are also carried out, and there are also good links with other units in Girlguiding Castleview District (Palmerston Place, Charlotte Chapel and Murrayfield Church units)
